FIBER PROTECTION

Fiber ProTector shields each fiber and gives it a surface that repels soils and stains. Once applied, it is inert, hypoallergenic, non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

Fiber ProTector warrants, that the surface of properly maintained fabrics featuring Fiber ProTector treatments will resist stains from most substances during the term of this agreement.

Fiber ProTector warrants, that the Fiber ProTector treatment will not change the original texture or color when applied to carpets and fabrics if applied by a trained technician.

The warranty is valid from the day of original Fiber ProTector treatment on new carpets and fabrics.

If carpets and fabrics are maintained using ph neutral spot and stain releaser and ph neutral pre spray cleaning method Fiber ProTector will guarantee that the protection will not need to be reapplied during the periods listed below.

3 years on new carpets– 4 years on new fabrics.

Maintenance and stain removal

Fabrics and carpets must be vacuumed frequently with a carpet beater Carpets need to be cleaned on regular basis depending on conditions and traffic. No alkaline cleaning products must be used. Consult your professional Fiber ProTector partner.

If a stain occurs, spot removing must follow the simple steps below.

Remove fresh spills by blotting the area with absorbent paper towels.

If a spot / stain is already dried or the dirt is solid, moisten the area with warm water using a sponge or microfiber cloth, blot the stain softly. Consult your professional Fiber ProTector partner if in doubt.

Work on the spot/stain from the side to the middle, to avoid enlarging.

Avoid all aggressive stain removing methods.

Exclusions from the warranty:

Soil and stain removal must be done according to the instructions given from FTS and only PROFLEKK must be used as a spot remover.

If the spill is non-organic, that destroy or change the color of fabrics. Examples include ink, magic marker, paints, strong acids or strong alkaline, bleach, acne medications, mustard and strawberry daiquiri, Strong coffee, urine, feces, vomit or pet stains.

If the carpet or fabric was harmed on purpose.

Carpets used for rental or commercial purposes.

Pre-existing stains or general soiling.

If the local Fiber ProTector partner is not notified about the stain within seven days.

Although we do not guarantee against all possible stains, we will guarantee that Fiber ProTector treatments will provide maximum protection during the projected lifespan listed above. If a stain cannot be removed, contact your local Fiber ProTector partner to discuss repair or replacement limited to the affected area of the carpet / fabric as qualified by the terms of this warranty.
